I AM a freelance photographer based in ayrshire, Scotland.
I FIRST PICKED UP A 35MM FILM CAMERA IN MY EARLY TEENS AND USED IT aS A WAY to document and interact with THE WORLD AROUND ME. COMBINED WITH A LOVE OF the outdoors, the first subject I turned my FOCUS to WAS WILDLIFE AND LANDSCAPES. It was this which lead me to a follow a career path in nature conservation. I gained a bachelors degree in geography followed by a masters degree in biodiversity & conservation. I subsequently worked in wildlife conservation for the UKs leading wildlife charities WHERE I worked in advisory roles and USED MY IMAGEs TO INSPIRE OTHERS TO SAFEGUARD NATURE.
I have since left working in conservation roles and I am now focussed on using photography to tell stories about people & the planet
I am always open to collaborations and working with other socially and environmentally conscious individuals and organisations.
